Perform and direct substation maintenance work, operate inspect and repair substation and substation equipment.nbsp;nbsp; Perform duties such as:

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 2.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Perform electrical switching.

Qualifications

Meet the Company39;s requirements as to general qualifications; have the qualifications of Apprentice Substation Electrician, and meet the following qualifications:

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 1.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Four years39; experience as an Apprentice Substation Electrician, or the equivalent.

nbsp;

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 2.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Have satisfactorily completed the Apprentice Substation Electrician Progression Steps, or the equivalent.

nbsp;

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 3.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Have attended and satisfactorily completed the Apprentice Substation Electrician Training Courses provided by the Company.nbsp; An employee who fails any Apprentice Substation Electrician Training Course or whose field performance is not satisfactory shall be returned to the classification from which he bid or was promoted.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 4.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Have satisfactorily performed the duties of Apprentice Substation Electrician or the equivalent.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 5.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Have a thorough working knowledge of the electrical system, voltages, and substation operations and equipment.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; 6.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Have a thorough working knowledge of the use of wiring diagrams.
