Role Overview:
NYL Investors LLC, an integrated asset management enterprise with over $250 billion in assets under management is currently seeking a Securities Operations Associate within its Derivative Operations group to assist with collateral management and derivative settlements (cleared and OTC).
Responsibilities:
* Review and maintain margin balances related to Derivatives and MBS in a timely and accurate manner to ensure proper collateralization.
* Review and communicate cash and securities collateral movements with counterparties.
* Communicate daily collateral movements to Cash Forecasting team.
* Confirm and exchange interest on collateral monthly with various brokers for derivative and MBS cash collateral.
* Monitor OTC derivative and cleared trade settlements and confirmations.
* Respond to departmental inquiries resolving questions and concerns regarding OTC and Cleared Derivatives.
* Participate in team projects to enhance workflow and support changes in industry regulations related to derivatives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in business or Finance
* 1+ years experience with Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and Dodd-Frank regulations a plus
* Strong systems skills a plus
* Detail oriented
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and client service skills
