We are the team which is focused on bringing in the next set of users by adding the necessary functionality to M365. Among the industries/segments we are targeting: Firstline Workers (1B+ worldwide), Regulated Industries (Health Care, Finance, Government), Unregulated Industries (Retail, Manufacturing and more). A lot of the functionality we build will be surfaced in Teams (using methods of extensibility) and if not help drive additional capabilities in that layer.

In the role of a software engineer you will collaborate with your counterparts in other disciplines to help shape a successful feature definition.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, validation, and deployment of your features to production, ensuring appropriate monitoring of your components. You will have the opportunity to solve problems of enterprise level scale, performance, operational costs, and compliance, leveraging the bleeding edge of technologies like Azure Bots and Power Apps. You will learn to be a full stack engineer with emphasis on front-end as well as back-end technologies.

Required Qualifications:

* 3 years of experience working in a professional software engineering environment.
* Professional web services development experience

Having the following will be a bonus:

* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
* Strong problem solving & debugging skills.
* Knowledge/experience with frameworks like Angular/React.
* The ability to work on cross team/org projects.
* The ability to ramp up quickly on modern technologies and getting things running on them.
* Experience with agile project management methodologies.
* Experience building large scale micro services and mobile expertise.
* Experience with DevOps environments.
* As there are many forms of coding in practical use today, having experience in languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, React, HTML, C, Python, Java, C, C++, and various others is acceptable, assuming one can demonstrate proficiency in what they know, and can extend their learning to new languages, tools, and environments.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
