The Microsoft Search, Assistance and Intelligence organization is responsible for enabling amazing conversational AI, assistive, and voice search capabilities across Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Teams, Windows, and many more). In this team, you will be at the forefront of Search and Intelligent Assistant products/services. You will have significant customer/product impact leading and driving innovations to the core platform and architecture. Your efforts will result in a highly capable platform that powers a range of intelligent search and assistive experiences across a variety of Microsoft 365 end points targeted at productivity improvements for the users. Specifically, in this role you will be responsible for understanding, defining and delivering the most important facets of a human's life (e.g., people, information, etc.) and improving the ability to recognize them in the most natural ways that human's interact (i.e., text, voice, etc.).

* Own and drive the roadmap for Search and Assistant Runtime platform, integration with various subsystems, and internationalization for a variety of voice-forward search and assistive experiences.
* Deliver the best-in-class, and industry-leading natural language-based voice experiences across a variety of product offerings.
* Drive stakeholder engagement, partner dependencies, and communication with executive leadership, and partner teams.
* Create product vision/strategy, and orchestrate long-term, and short-term product planning.
* Lead feature improvements through iterative design and experimentation by leveraging data to build strong understanding of customer.
* Collaborate closely across multiple teams, disciplines, and organizations within the company to deliver our ambitious vision.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is a talented and experienced technical Product Manager with:

* 5 years of experience in program/product management OR software engineering leadership
* Familiarity and/or experience in AI/ML and natural language technologies (NLP/NLG).
* Good understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.

Preferred qualifications, but not required:

* Experience building search, user & intent understanding, or informational retrieval systems
* Experience with business planning & monetization strategies
* MBA and/or a graduate (MS, PhD) degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field
* Strong technical product leadership abilities with demonstrated strategic thinking and vision.
* Proven track record of delivering large and sophisticated products (ideally cloud-based services and AI/ML related).
* Strong technical acumen to drive design and architecture discussions with engineering teams.
* Excellent ability to effectively document product and functional specifications.
* Excellent analytical, presentation, negotiation, and story-telling skills, and strong communication skills - verbal and writing.
* Strong ability to drive cross-functional teams, partners, and cross-org leadership teams.
* Experience to efficiently work with and leverage internationally distributed development teams.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and drive for results.
