Job Description:

The successful candidate will manage full lifecycle program management support for LMCO-primed Iron Patriot contract task orders as well as new task orders awarded under Speedwagon/Fleetwood/Starfleet IDIQ contracts. The successful candidate will serve as the primary interface between the customer, prime contractor and the development team and will be responsible for managing customer communications to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and reporting progress, issues, resource utilization, and funding status to the customer. The candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, software requirements analysis and refinement, design, implementation, documentation, and testing. He or she must have the ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment and will have regular contact with customers.

The successful candidate will lead business development and capture efforts within the Space Superiority Division and work effectively with other senior business development leadership programs and functional entities that focus on Space Warfighting Mission and BMC2. The candidate will be pivotal in developing pursuit and capture plans, business strategy, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and interfacing with customers to close on contract orders to meet annual operating and strategic growth plans. The successful candidate should have experience growing a DoD Sales Pipeline focused on delivering Space Warfighting and BMC2 solutions. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Division within the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector of the Space and Airborne Systems Segment.

Essential Functions:

* Effectively manage cost, schedule and performance of contract team
* Work with customer to refine requirements, develop project plans, produce time/cost estimates, manage project schedules and assign design and development tasks.
* Provide primary interface between customer and development team.
* Identify, plan and execute campaign strategies relative to business capture for Space Warfighting and BMC2 capabilities.
* Lead business acquisition process milestone/gate reviews; to include opportunity identification, qualification, pursuit, pre-proposal, and proposal processes.
* Manage Customer Relationship Database for Space Warfighting portfolio.
* Work closely with other Business Development Leads within the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector and across the Space and Airborne Systems.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
* At least 2+ years' of project management experience.
* 1+ years' operational DoD Space Warfighting mission experience
* 2+ years' experience developing new business opportunities within DoD
* 2+ years' experience supporting capture efforts and programs/projects in DoD and Space Warfighting markets
* Active TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

* PMP Certification
* Familiarity with C&A; processes
* Solid understanding and experience leading Agile development projects
* Previous software or web application development experience
* Experience using Atlassian Jira, Jira Agile for tracking work items and requirements
* Experience working with national space systems and space control technologies
* Space acquisition experience
* Thorough understanding of DoD Space Warfighting Requirements, budgets and decision makers.
* Ability to Travel - up to 25%.
* Self-starter demonstrating solid judgment - understands when to seek guidance, but has strong ability to think and act independently under limited oversight and direction
* Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with customers and technical professionals from all levels. Able to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment; able to manage project tasks, scope change, and schedules to keep program on-track
