As the Supervisor Gas Operations, you will supervise construction & maintenance, meter reading and/or service work in a designated area to assure an efficient, economical and safe operation in adherence with company policies and governmental regulations while providing good customer service and public relations.

Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:

* Plans, schedules, assigns, directs and supervises work related to the distribution of natural gas
* Evaluates and monitors work methods, quality standards, productivity and work performance
* Orders, receives, verifies receipt of and maintains adequate materials and supplies
* Prepares and participate in regulatory audits
* Prepares reports (such as time reports, mileage, odorization, leakage survey) and assures the completeness and accuracy of reports
* Meets with contractors to assure compliance with operating standards and resolve any questions or concerns
* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid Driver's License
* Work outside in all types of weather conditions.
* Requires a minimum of 7 Years of experience in natural gas distribution operations, including construction & maintenance and service.

Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree
* Previous leadership experience

Physical Requirements:

* Able to operate a motor vehicle and the ability to enter and exit vehicle unassisted
* Able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
* Able to perform on-site inspections
* Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time
* Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop
* Able to sit for extended periods of time
* Able to work in both an office environment and outside field locations including able to tolerate exposure to all weather conditions
* Able to travel to work sites including out of town. Travel may require overnight stays, for work, meetings, environmental inspections, conferences, etc.
* Able to work more than 40 hours per week, as required, to meet established deadlines and accomplish objectives
* Able to operate a copy machine, fax machine, calculator, telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment

Working Conditions:

* Able to work on a daily basis in all types of weather conditions
* Able to be included in random drug screen pool required for DOT drivers and DOT safety sensitive positions
* Able to respond to emergency calls and/or call-outs and occasionally return to work while off duty
* Able to wear personal protection safety equipment, such as safety glasses, hardhat, gloves, and/or earplugs on a daily basis
* Able to travel as needed
