Description: Designing Automatic Transmission components and Test fixtures to support testing of these components. This will require use of Autodesk Inventor to design fixtures, bid their build and then prove their effective implementation in the testing environment to meet customer requirements.

Key Tasks:

* Understand/Learn Product Design and Testing.
* Draw Product drawings using 2D and 3D CAD application (Autodesk Inventor/ AutoCAD).
* Designing simple fixtures to support testing product.
* Understand/Learn GD&T.
* Understand/Learn Document Control (Customer Requirements).
* Archiving change data.
* Development of Test Procedures and Lab Optimization.
* Utilizing analytical and problem solving skills to complete activities associated with assigned project(s).
* Troubleshooting customer inquiries with quality parts and test products in development to confirm they meet customer specification.
* Develop presentations and displays for internal and external customers.
* Core Engineering testing & data analysis.

Education Requirements Include:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.

Additional Requirements:

* Excellent communication skills required Oral and written.
* Good multi-tasking skills.
* Ability to drive for results is essential.
* Ability to do logical problem solving.
* Basic understanding of engineering principles.
* Willingness and desire to learn.
* Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
* Computer literacy is necessary.
* Experience using AutoCAD. Autodesk Inventor.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Must be self-driven and able to accomplish entry-level troubleshooting tasks with decreasing supervision.

Nice To Have:

Familiarity with Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances

We look for Engineer candidates who are willing to rotate through different specialties in the Engineering and Operations field. An open mind and interest in Project Management, Manufacturing, Programming and Lean is a plus.
