Maritime Fires Planner, Senior
The Challenge:
Critical decisions are made every single day in our military. What if you could use your maritime fires skills to help them enhance the process and make timely and informed decisions? As a Maritime Fires Planner, you will use your technical, regional, and functional experience and your attention to detail to integrate critical exercises using the Joint Test and Evaluation process.
Your skills will enhance dynamic and deliberate exercises to support development and lead just-in-time training in key critical areas for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and participants. As an authority on maritime fires, our client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to define your expertise, develop new skills in joint, combined, and maritime fires and share your skills with other targeting subject matter experts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so youll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:
-5+ years of experience as a planner or exercise specialist in US joint or service-level maritime fires and targeting
-Experience with supporting doctrinal and just-in-time training for Fires planning teams
-Experience with conducting real-time observation of fires planning and systems operations during exercise events
-Ability to implement and manage real-time changes to fires-related databases
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree or 8+ years of experience as a Joint Fires Planner in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility as a member of a Quick Reaction Test, Joint Feasibility Study, or a Joint Test supporting the US Navy or USMC
-Experience with operating and configuration of Fires systems in operational and tactical environments
-Knowledge of integrating Fires with US Navy, US Marine Corps, and Joint Fires systems and applications
-Ability to provide system upgrades and security patches while maintaining system training functionality
-Completion of a Joint Fires Course
