Exercise Planner, Senior

The Challenge:

Critical decisions are made every single day in our military. What if you could use your Joint exercise planner experience and expertise to help our clients integrate joint fires into their joint exercise life cycle? You will work to enhance real-world joint and combined targeting and fires capabilities using your technical, regional, and functional experience. As an Exercise Planner on our team, you will conduct client-directed planning and support to Joint Exercise Program events, develop exercise control design and architecture, facilitate and lead scenario development and execution, and provide post exercise analysis for future joint exercise development. You will supervise and assist with the development of key collateral for joint exercises and assist in development of senior leader table-top exercises. Your expertise will help shape the execution of the event and you will be a key factor in our after-action reporting.

You will also observe test and evaluation field operations and events to ensure that the data collected addresses Measure of Performance and Effectiveness, and maintain responsibility for conducting test planning and scheduling to help our clients prepare for critical exercise events. As an authority on joint forces operations and training, our client will look to you for critical recommendations to expertly train joint and combined forces. You Have:

-2+ years of experience as an exercise planner at the Joint level or a field test design and development operations planner in the USINDOPACOM region

-Experience with implementing scenario design in Command Post Exercises (CPX)

-Experience with coordinating test requirements and resources, including range scheduling, participant availability, models, and simulations availability

-Experience with writing and coordinating detailed exercise or test plans using a test run matrix and executing test and evaluation data collection during events

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience as an exercise planner in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

-2+ years of experience with the military in joint or combined operations using Joint Exercise Life Cycle using fundamental test and evaluation processes and doctrine

-Joint Program Military Education (JPME) Certification

-PMP Certification
