Job Description Summary

The Project Manager will support the project portfolio for the Global Distribution Center in Covington, GA. More specifically, this role will lead a cross-functional team or teams responsible for executing projects in support of business objectives including Warehouse Management System (WMS) installations, new lines, line extensions, continuous improvement, capacity expansion, supply continuity, global compliance & remediation, and customer support.

The Project Manager will support the project portfolio for the Global Distribution Center in Covington, GA. More specifically, this role will lead a cross-functional team or teams responsible for executing projects in support of business objectives including WMS installations, new lines, line extensions, continuous improvement, capacity expansion, supply continuity, global compliance & remediation, and customer support.

Competences:

* Manage Warehouse Management System (WMS) projects

* Plan, lead and drive execution of program activities according to plan using the tools agreed for with the program.

* Manage cross-functional workstreams/collaborations

* Manage Project Schedule - proactive project task identification, dependency tracking, milestone tracking, aligning overall plan with workstream plans

* Manage scope & prioritization identify scope elements vs. change; change impact analysis; demand prioritization

* Manage Project Financials manage funding requests, track expenses & maintain a view of budgeted vs actuals

* Track RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions)

* Project Status reporting: identify KPIs/metrics to provide top-to-bottom visibility & prepare executive-level progress reports

* Manage communications

* Manage escalation of project roadblocks and action plans

* Resource Management: identify resource demand; manage resource pools; managing vendors if applicable; resource assignations

* Comply with BD standards, policies and procedures

* Manage needed quality documents and processes

* Share best practices

* Manage transition and project handover documentation

* Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience:

* Bachelors Degree

* Prefer 3-5 years of solid experience with WMS preferably SAP, High Jump or Manhattan
