Job Description:
Successful candidate will work with subject matter experts to develop/deliver technical training for airborne and ground-based systems. This position requires attention to detail and follow-up on all delegated assignments.
Partner with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define the priorities for curriculum/courseware development and to coordinate completion with product release dates. Develop/deliver training presentations and lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements and vendor spec sheets. Create course materials that ensure participants have a solid understanding of the systems, and the skills needed to operate or maintain their systems in their day-to-day responsibilities. Must be able to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting, trainer/simulator, or aircraft.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirements.
* Training development and delivery in a technical environment
* Knowledge and experience implementing training programs using an instructional design methodology.
Desired additional Skills:
* Experience with DV Airlift
* Past experience as an operator or maintainer on one or more military platforms
* Formal U.S. military instructional experience desired (TRADOC, AETC)
* Adobe FrameMaker
* Experience in the development of computer-based training
Soft Skills:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics.
* Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
Position requires the ability to maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
