* A firm-wide platform for data privacy requests
* Support for jurisdictional variations as well as LOB distinctions where appropriate

Data Privacy is a branch of data protection concerned with the proper handling, processing, storage and usage of personal information focused on the rights of the individuals with respect to their personal information. In Operations Technology Servicing organization for PRPP Product, our engineers will learn and grow as below:

Main Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the Leads to ensure team and organization standards are followed and the team is consistently focused on continuous improvements and sustained delivery
* Participate in agile team meetings with the team and other key stakeholders
* Employ simple design and pragmatic implementation techniques to drive business value
* Pair program with team members to build high-quality solutions
* Adopt a quality first mindset with a high emphasis placed on unit testing and TDD
* Be open and actively seeking learning opportunities from more senior team members
* Be passionate about technology and constantly seek ways of learning new technology and practices
* Develop innovative engineering solutions using core Java and Spring Framework
* Develop and automate large scale, high performance data processing systems to drive and improve product experience
* Design and Build robust systems using Kafka streaming platform for real time event processing and storage solutions
* Work collaboratively with data privacy stakeholders, product owners and understand the consumer privacy requirements

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
* Technology Stack:
* Java Practical implementation skills with Core Java, Spring Boot, Object Oriented Programming concepts and patterns
* Event Streaming - Experience working with Kafka and microservices architecture
* CI/CD - Experience working with Maven as a build tool, GIT SCM tool, Jules/Jenkins for build pipeline
* Database Experience working with ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA, must be proficient in SQL preferably across multiple databases
* UI - Experience working with UI framework such as Angular, React, Javascript, workflow knowledge (Camunda)
* Automation - Experience with ATDD, AFT, Unit Testing (JUnit, Karma, cucumber/selenium/contract testing)
* Cloud Foundry- Knowledge of Gaia (GAP, GKS) and S3 (AWS for object storage)
* General Exposure to development in more than one programming language and good understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies.
* Development Tools - IntelliJ, Swagger, Avro, Sql developer/Toad
* Project Management - Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence
* Engineering Practices:
* TDD Must have practical experience with unit testing using tools like JUnit
* Refactoring Exposure to refactoring concepts and how they apply when building and maintaining high-quality solutions
* Pair Programming Comfortable with the concept of pairing with other team members to solve problems
* Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken forms)
* Work in an Agile Team construct, quick learner and able to work in team as well as independently
