Job Description

JP Morgan Wholesale Payments Integrated Payments Product Group is seeking a Managed POS Services Product Manager to deliver solutions that power client growth, create a seamless experience for our clients, and anchor JP Morgan Wholesale Payments as the preferred payments provider to large clients and franchises across North America.

In this role you will own product strategy, deliverables, and client demand that culminate in a seamless omni-channel payments experience for our clients. You will work directly with our strategic partners to feed client demand, business needs, and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for articulating the product vision, identify success metrics, reporting & collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance existing products and to partner, build, and launch new product initiatives for the North American market.

You will leverage and deepen your expertise in multiple areas related to payments, including merchant onboarding, point-of-sale solutions, point-of-sale infrastructure, credit and debit card processing as well as risk, controls, and compliance. You will dive into various merchant verticals including retail, restaurants, ecommerce, government/utilities, grocery, lodging, petroleum and professional services with a focus large to mid-tier enterprise clients.

The ideal person for this role should possess strong knowledge of the payments landscape. The candidate should possess a blend of business analytics, strategy, business acumen, and tactical execution skills. The product manager should be a thought leader in the POS services space, and spear head new and innovative ways to solve for our clients needs. The ideal candidate should also be able to take input and guidance from a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and create requirements and documentation for all stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

* Provide specific requirements to support payment solutions in an omni-channel payment environment.
* Represent our large Wholesale Payment clients needs and requirements for processing, reporting and reconciliation.
* Have a strong understanding of card present payment methods and payment industry products, services and compliance requirements across North America.
* Work closely with our strategic partnerships to ensure that our solutions and services are adequately implemented and supported.
* Manage and facilitate business impacts assessments, change control forums, as well as risk and control governance.
* Manage and facilitate the commercialization (GTM) efforts to deliver any new product initiatives (NPI), services, or internal process optimization.
* Partner with our strategic fintech partners to deliver against the roadmap based on client demand, JPMC business needs, and compliance requirements.
* Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify client and business needs, as well as lead efforts to obtain market and competitive analytics.
* Define and track metrics that inform the success of your product initiatives and strategy.
* Manage the refinement and growth of the Managed POS Services business case.
* Recommend technical and process improvements where possible to improve the overall effectiveness or marketability of a product.
* Ownership and oversite of partner-led client escalations for solutions offered in our product portfolio.
* Identify and clear any roadblocks while monitoring product performance with our strategic partners.

What We Are Looking For:

* 3+ years in product management or related business strategy role.
* 5-7 years experience in the payments industry preferred
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business or Product Management required.
* Product management experience within the payment industry with a strong track record of success.
* Business management experience with a focus on strategy and service delivery.
* Strong knowledge of omni-channel environments and payment platforms preferred.
* Proven track record with multi-faceted payment platform implementations for large and mid-tier enterprise businesses.
* Experience with integrated POS solutions and omni-channel environments.
* A collaborator with solid communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with strategic partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
* A creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs and value.
* Proven track record of developing, maintaining, and delivering measurable and proven results.
* Self-managed ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced results and performance-driven environment.
* Strong ability to analyze issues & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written).
* Strong documentation and reporting skills; comfortable with reporting up to senior executive leadership.
* True passion for making a frictionless product and being obsessed with the client experience.
* <25% travel may be involved
