As a Senior Competitive Strategy Analyst tracking the macOS/iOS competitive ecosystem in the Competitive Strategy (CompStrat) team, you will be responsible for understanding the details, capabilities and competitiveness of macOS, iOS and silicon. You will team closely with other experts to provide deeper analysis to stakeholders across Intel, including at the highest levels. This is a high visibility role and there are significant opportunities for executive engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Tracking and projecting macOS, iOS and silicon capabilities and roadmaps and understanding how they might impact the competitiveness of Intels products
* Understanding how macOS, iOS and silicon enable the user experience
* Developing robust models to track and forecast the macOS/iOS ecosystem and roadmaps, business models, strategies and financial performance to further educate and influence internal strategies
* Developing comprehensive reports and presentations to executive management for quarterly earnings and major events of key competitors
* Working both independently and in consultation with an extended team to gather competitive company information, analyze potential competitive products and their financial implications to help develop winning strategies for Intel
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
* Bs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a related role, including:
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the macOS/iOS competitive ecosystem
* Demonstrated business and strategic acumen with an understanding of broader market drivers and trends
* Demonstrated success in driving business decisions through financial analysis and influence
Preferred qualifications:
* MBA highly desired

The Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development.
