IT is a group of specialized professionals providing services to Intels Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and Corporate teams to sustain and maintain their work environments. IT participates in resolving customer issues and identifying and implementing system administration process improvements, including automation.

As an Equipment Technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electromechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
* Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
* May also perform setup, calibration and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
* Assignments are semi routine in nature.
* Work performed within generally defined parameters.
* Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
* Normally receives general instructions on most work.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Education:

* Must have a High School Degree, and/or Technical Associates Degree, and/or Bachelor's Degree, and/or Military experience in Electronics, Electro Mechanical devices or any other related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Possess a 2 year Technical Degree in a related discipline or equivalent of 2 years of working experience with semiconductor equipment or maintenance and software knowledge.
* Minimum of 1 year of educational or real world experience in technical functions in support of engineering activities such as: design test checkout modifications, fabrications of design circuitry, electromechanical systems or specialized test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* General knowledge of mechanical systems including robotic drives actuators and microcontrollers.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
