Insight Enterprise is seeking a IT support Administrator to assist our customer onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio This position is slotted for a 6+ month contract with the possibility of extension and/or long-term hire.
This position will be assisting analysts in the process of supporting end user systems, company approved software and be able to provide support to the Level 1 Admins when needed. This role evaluates and analyzes complex issues with end users computers and Operating systems (Windows 10 Pro / MacOS). In addition, the selected candidate will use analysis and problem-solving methodologies to facilitate resolution, installation, updates, implementation, maintenance, education, and documentation creation of a variety of computer software and hardware technologies.
Your Day-to-Day Essential Duties
* The application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users and Service Delivery Level 1 staff, to determine hardware, software or system functional issues and resolutions and specifications.
* Work effectively with Service Delivery Level 1, end users, vendors, and management.
* Participate effectively on cross team and enterprise projects.
* Demonstrated application of system structures and commands. (TCP/IP, DNS, RAID, volume management, backups etc.)
* Project implementation of documentation, training, new computer and server deployments, and computer equipment end-of-life out processing with cross functional teams from other IT Departments.
* Implementation and configuration of software used across the enterprise for virus protection, software patching, machine imaging, email delivery, security.
* Tracking and documenting computer asset inventory
* Have knowledge and able to work with Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Office 365 & Office 365 Exchange for email.
* Log all helpdesk tickets and route them when necessary, managing and over-seeing any escalated tickets ensuring they are resolved.
* Anticipates, identifies, and articulates problem areas and develops preventative solutions.
* Strong focus on customer service, quality, communication, and accuracy.

What You Bring to the Team
* 2- or 4-Year Degree and ability to demonstrate required skills required for role.
* Certifications such as A+, Network+, and/or MCP are strongly preferred.
* Ability to demonstrate knowledge in applicable areas of technology.
* A solid knowledge for the Windows infrastructure and its administration, and working with the currently standard software/hardware we support (listed below)
* Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and the ability to use independent judgment in matters that causing impact to the business.
* Skills required include excellent customer service, troubleshooting, problem solving used in answering technical support phone calls, voice messages, emails, and monitoring helpdesk ticketing system from end users request.
* Proficient with Microsoft Server and workstation operating systems, all versions of Microsoft Office suites and other related company applications such as but not limited to Citrix, Share Point, Remote/VPN software and ERP accounting software, all types of server hardware and network equipment.
* Demonstrated initiative to remain current in skill development and knowledge of hardware and software used by the company.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly over the telephone and email.
