As RN Coordinator for Outpatient Behavioral Health at our facility you will be leading a team that has a passion for creating positive patient interactions and a dedication to caring for the multi-faceted wellness of those we serve. In this role:

* You will coordinate operations and provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients.
* You will support and coach clinic staff and ensure appropriate patient flow, medical record organization, and medication reconciliation.
* You will provide critical support for psychiatrists and nurse practitioners.
* You will triage patient requests for medication refills, extra appointments, and other patient concerns and field calls as necessary.
* You will track the course of treatment for patients and consolidate information for providers.
* You will complete prior authorization process with payors as needed.
* You will plan and coordinate care and follow-up with treatment team members, other hospital departments, and mental health care providers in the community as necessary.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required (BSN preferred)

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

* Current Utah RN license in good standing
* American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

EXPERIENCE:

* 1 year chemical dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field
