ebays Buyer Growth team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to work on key parts of ebay like the home page, my ebay, global header and growth experiences. Youll be working with a world class team of engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to create great products that make a difference on one of the worlds most trafficked and loved websites. Our technology stack includes Node.js front end app and Java/Scala based back-end.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of strong backend development experience and good front end engineering skills. We are a team that likes to move fast and iterate faster as we deliver the future of e-commerce. We only want to work with the best, and wed love for you to join us.

Job Requirements

* Excellent programming skills in Scala / Java

* Expertise in Node.js + any Javascript framework, HTML and CSS3

* Familiarity with source control, particularly Git

* Experience building RESTful APIs

* A constant desire to improve and learn

* Ability to write reusable and maintainable code

* Self-motivation and ability to get things done

* Experience with scrum or other agile software development methodology

* Bachelors degree and 7+ years (or) a MS in Computer Science and 5+ years of software design and front-end engineering experience
