Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Technician position located in the Corinth, MS facility. Operator will inspect 3500/ Misc. engine parts and package for shipment for in house/LEF demand.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to inspect 3500/ Misc. engine parts and package for shipment for in house/LEF demand.

Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated.

Operator will work in a team environment.

Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility within the job classification scope.

Operator will follow reusability guidelines or visual guidelines to inspect all components.

Sort various part numbers through visual inspection to look for damaged parts.

Use gauges to check specifications per prints.

Fill out move tickets.

Will use a hoist and CX lifting tools to move parts from basket to tubs/racks.

Use a pallet jack to move parts in and out of area.

Access EPIX to view/read prints.

Basic Qualifications:

* Basic computer skills

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

* Microsoft Office experience
* Blueprint reading experience
* Microsoft Office experience
* Understanding of combustion engines and components
* Experience with using gauges (dial calipers, micrometers and thread gauges)
* Previous manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements:

* Will be required to use face shield.
* May be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 25 lbs. multiple times per shift.

Job Bid Eligibility Requirements:

* Any current agency workers applying to this position must have worked the required 90 days in order to be considered as well as meeting all requirements for the position.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: 4PM- 2AM
Work Location: Corinth, MS
Starting Hourly Rate: $15.90 with an additional $.60 night shift premium

This is a full time position with full benefits including 401K with 6% company match.
