Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

As a Machine Learning Senior Software Engineer, you will be challenged with the responsibility of working on cutting-edge solutions in an advanced cloud environment. You will be relied on for guidance and leadership on our overall program as well as to contribute to building fast architectures and machine learning solutions to create or improve some of the most interesting use cases in the financial services industry.

You will:

* Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

* Continuously improve software engineering practices

* Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies

* Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions

* Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

* Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree

* At least 4 years of experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Data Mining

* At least 4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Data Science technology

* At least 3 years of experience designing and building data intensive solutions using distributed computing

* At least 3 years of experience programming with Python, Scala, or Java

* At least 2 years of experience with a Machine Learning framework (PyTorch, SciKit Learn, NumPy, or TensorFlow)

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience with a functional programming language (Haskell or R)

* 2+ years of experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)

* 1+ year of experience with Reinforcement Learning

* 1+ year of experience with C++, Java Spring, Hibernate, Clojure, or Scala

* 1+ year of experience with Design Patterns

* 1+ year of experience developing RESTful APIs
