Summary
The Tumor Directors are integral members of the Worldwide Oncology Commercialization Team and reports to the Tumor Group Lead. The Directors lead the development of the overall worldwide commercialization tumor strategy, with a primary focus on Opdivo and Yervoy in collaboration with worldwide markets and matrix team partners.
Responsibilities Include:
* Develop overall worldwide Commercial strategy for Adjuvant Esophageal, Liver and pancreas Tumors
* Work with the WW matrix team and priority markets to drive rapid implementation of commercial strategy to drive superior business results.
* Drives collaboration and co-creation of strategic planning with extended worldwide and market Teams
* Shape the Product/Tumor:
* Provide input to the R&D Development Team (DT) on Opdivo and Yervoy development programs including identification of key gaps and opportunities for program acceleration
* Work across early asset DTs to provide commercial insights as the specific tumor expert
* Provide input to DTs and BD to support pipeline development
* Lead development of tumor specific message platform, scenario planning, strategic planning work, forecast input, label optimization/filing strategies, and other key projects/activities, while keeping larger immuno-oncology franchise interests in mind
* Launch Preparation in collaboration with the key markets: Provide messaging and supporting evidence to aid markets in their launch preparations
* Knowledge transfer, launch preparedness, and sharing of best practices/lessons learned with worldwide markets
Qualifications:
* BS/BA or equivalent required; an MBA or other advanced degree preferred
* Oncology or Hematology experience is strongly preferred.
* Minimum 7-8 years pharmaceutical experience with proven track record demonstrating breadth and depth across marketing/sales and market access competencies
* Ex-US experience and Oncology experience are benefits
* Individual should have demonstrable and consistent delivery of BMS behaviors and exemplary achievement of performance objectives
* Strong leadership skills will be required to lead/contribute to the overall strategic planning, and execution of key deliverables
* Experience in mobilizing matrix team members, country partners, embracing teamwork and project management within a cross functional environment will be critical
* Demonstrated analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis, financial analysis and crystallization of key business insights are needed
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance are required
* Personal integrity; passionate, energetic and focused on the company and mission
* Listens/considers alternative ideas, viewpoints and encourages debate on others' ideas
