Director - Technology Transformation & Governance

Overview:

* Partner with Global Digital Transformation Organization to Lead and participate in key workstreams for Americas region (Digital Backbone, Health, and Customer Experience, Digital Core)
* Act as Digital Council Lead for the Americas to support activities such as ideation, governance, and change management across the matrix (finance, commercial, supply chain, service etc.)
* Act as point of governance for Digital Health Workstream
* Lead and influence key stakeholders to drive process excellence utilizing existing & emerging technologies e.g. Robotic Process Automation (RPA), alternate/mixed reality, optical recognition
* Manage specific product tech for USHP across platforms
* Create & present documentation for use technology use cases, maintain budget, accelerate strategic customer solutions
* Partner with leaders within Enterprise Tech in developing procedures and policies for technology management
* Lead management, RFPs, KPIs, customer deliverables, risk policy
* Partner with Marketing across business units to assist with material creation for items on the technology roadmap
* Partner with device architect team to drive interoperability with Baxter products and understand future trends e.g. auto-programming via HL7, FHIR, mobile interoperability
* Partner with & manage third party service providers to ensure quality, delivery and cost meet or exceed Baxters expectations.
* Lead and develop operating mechanisms within the technology group to ensure project success and all stakeholders are informed on project status, issues & actions
* Serve as liaison between USHP, the GBU and Global Services for our technology portfolio
* Lead Mixed Reality initiative for Americas
* Manage issues to ensure efficient and effective resolution.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree required.
* Minimum of 8+ years experience in the healthcare industry
* Technical Skills, including cGMP-Regulations, Quality Assurance & Operations.
* Cross functional team leadership; ability to work and influence across business units and functions, multi-site, multi- cultural. Proven ability to hold others accountable.
* Ability to develop and manage partnerships both internally and externally
* Demonstrated ability to execute complex plans on time and on budget.
* Ability to think strategically and to provide clear direction to others.
* Superior analytical, organization, and project management skills
* Intermediate MS Office Skills, data visualization, VLOOKUP, logical statements
* 5+ years previous experience in managing people
* Travel up to 33% domestically
