Implements corporate safety policies to comply with OSHA, EPA, or other environmental, safety or health requirements. Provides safety, health or environmental training to supervisors and work groups. Maintains records on lost time accidents and prepares appropriate reports. May also have some responsibility for DOT compliance where applicable. May implement hazardous waste control and disposal activities including training, collection, disposal and records maintenance, as well as conservation programs within the organization. Ensures compliance with government environmental, health and safety regulations. Conducts audits or surveys and recommends corrective action where occupational or environmental hazards exist. Responds to emergencies and investigates accidents and recommends corrective action. Completes required federal, state and local government reports relating to environmental, health or safety issues. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Typically reports into a 2nd Level Manager. SUPERVISORY: NO

AT&T Corp. was formerly known as American Telephone & Telegraph Company and changed its name to AT&T Corp. in April 1994. The company was founded in 1885 and is based in Bedminster, New Jersey. AT&T Corp. operates as a subsidiary of AT&T Inc.
