Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Review electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts & schematics, and detailed drawings & specifications for manufacturability. Drive changes as needed to support manufacturing operations. Apply electrical engineering concepts in a low-volume/high-configurability manufacturing environment.

Support engineering, quality, and supply chain in the design and procurement of electrical components and assemblies including cables and harnesses. Develop and communicate across the organization the best known processes and practices for the continuous improvement of electrical manufacturing documentation.

Support the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components & equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.

Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems. Interface with members of both internal and external production, engineering, quality, and supply chain personnel.

Education:

BS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree preferred

MS Degree optional

Functional Knowledge

* Experience using CAD systems including cabling and schematics (PTC Creo a plus)
* Familiar with MRP functionality, with SAP knowledge a plus
* Understanding of the tools and methods used to manufacture and test electrical assemblies
* Familiarity with IPC standards 610 & 620
