Job Summary
The Zone Business Leader is responsible for organizing, directing and integrating the agency strategies and change
initiatives within an assigned zone to aid in driving profitable growth. This leader will work in concert with Agency
Sales Operations and Agency Sales Strategy to provide consistent countrywide solutions across zones that can be
operationalized into local execution plans. This individual is an expert in field, sales and agency operations and will
partner with Zone Leaders to coach sales leaders and drive market level results. The Zone Business Leader will
report to a Zone Leader and have a matrix reporting relationship to the VP of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Expand Allstate's market share by leveraging the agency distribution channel to deliver solutions that meet the
needs of customers in local markets:
Coordinates and integrate the operational/tactical business plan that drives sales effectiveness within
assigned zone.
Prioritizes and execute on strategic initiatives to drive market, district, and zone level results
Leverages quantitative, qualitative and trend data to draw conclusions and help drive business results
Leads complex and critical programs between the field and home office teams including state-level
product related triage
Anticipates operational issues in sales strategies and develops preventative measures within a
designated Zone
Maintains strong collaborative working relationships across all three functional areas of Agency Sales
(Strategy, Operations, Zones) and proactively shares information to ensure common vision and
partnership in support of agency channel growth
Adapts approaches to integration, collaboration and communication for multiple audiences in Agency
Sales
Leads the implementation of Continuous Improvement in the zone driving consistency and execution
and maintains the narrative component of the huddle board
Coordinates and executes on all zone level meetings, supplementing CW content from home office
with local level examples, specific agency segments of focus, and market-based opportunity case
studies to drive a local call to action
Integration point with key partners in Strategy/Ops to help drive improvement to critical tools, provide
feedback on promotions, communications, process, etc.
Provides Zone Leaders assistance in navigating customer and agent escalations
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities but will complement Zone Leader and District Sales
Leader efforts to develop talent in the Field Sales Organization.
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
7 or more years of sales leadership experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
P&C, Life and Health Licensed in state of residence (preferred)
