AIG Capital Planning is part of AIG Treasury within the Finance division of AIG. The AIG Capital Planning team is responsible for AIGs capital management framework, including policies, guidelines, development of the annual capital plan, recovery and contingency planning and the regular assessment of capital adequacy. The candidate will become an integral member of a dynamic team involved in the analysis and assessment of AIGs capital resources, in support of AIGs strategic objectives and business plans.

With a high emphasis on teamwork, the position requires direct interaction with personnel across AIGs global businesses and corporate functions. As part of a global function, team members are provided with the opportunity to garner an in-depth understanding of AIGs business and to build expertise in areas of Treasury, Capital Management, Finance and Risk.

* Responsible for preparation of annual capital plan and regular capital assessments, aligned to business plans and managements strategic objectives
* Assist in preparation of firm-wide recovery and contingency plans
* Execute and lead corporate projects of a strategic and financial nature, for Finance, Risk and Treasury management
* Support pro forma capital analytics to support organic and inorganic growth opportunities
* Participate in regulatory Group Capital field testing

What we are looking for

* Undergraduate degree required. Finance or business major preferred
* 2+ years of experience in Finance, Treasury, Risk Management or a related field, preferably with in a financial firm with demonstrated knowledge in corporate finance & investments
* Self-starter, quick learner, and flexible team player
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and tight deadlines while retaining strong attention to detail
* Demonstrate professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
* Technical skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
* Experience with BPC, Factset, SNL is a plus
