Responsible for administrative functions of the department. This role will support the General Manager and the staff of the US Neuroscience franchise, specifically Duopa and ABBV-951. This role will manage and support operational, communication and logistical activities. The role reports to the GM of US Neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Provides general administrative support for department and may provide back-up support as needed for field. Responsible for compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
* Examples of administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting and event planning and coordination, calendar management, expense reporting, travel coordination, purchase orders, and working closely with business partners to help the needs of the franchise leadership team.
* Partners with meeting owners by managing ever changing program requirements and execute accurately and appropriately (agenda management, meeting data analysis, budget reconciliation and reporting for meeting/event projects.
* Source locations and work with internal/external facilitators when appropriate.
* Provide on-site support as requested.
* Key logistical and coordination point supporting communication related activities. Produce and distribute digital or physical internal communication supporting franchise or specific GM communication goals. Use communication to support a strong culture among the franchise.
* Effectively communicate across several levels of cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, such as: executives, business owners/internal customers, field personnel, and various external partners. Be a trusted partner to leadership and maintain confidentiality when needed.
* Oversee logistical, financial and purchasing support per AbbVie policy including opening Purchase Orders, reconciling expenses for T&E, P-Cards, and Meeting Cards, and budget tracking for projects.
* Familiarity with Abbvie systems and organizational structure preferred.
* Ability to navigate IT systems of record.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Handles time pressures and deadlines in professional manner
* Project Management experience/skills a plus
* A successful candidate will take an interest in the business of the franchise, the company, and the industry and proactively offer suggestions to improve processes.

Qualifications
Qualifications - External

* High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
* 4+ years previous admin experience or equivalent.
* Meeting Management experience
