Your Responsibilities

As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer for John Deere Seeding located in Moline, Il, you will:

* Plans, coordinates and performs facilities project and maintenance engineering work for facility infrastructure, production equipment and processes of moderate to large scope.
* Provides troubleshooting of the facility infrastructure and production equipment to support production, manufacturing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
* Assigns, coordinates, and reviews the work of support and contract personnel.

What Skills You Need

* Knowledge of product, process, and facilities design.
* Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
* Knowledge of safety, quality and environmental laws, regulations, and goals.
* Knowledge of contract management and Indirect Materials & Systems (IM&S) Supply Management Strategies.
* Works well in a team environment across multiple functions and with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.

What Makes You Stand Out

* Experience in project management and business planning of large strategic projects that are complex or projects that involve sensitive topics.
* 1 to 3 years experience working in Facilities Engineering and/or Maintenance Engineering role.
* 1 to 3 years experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
* 1 to 3 years experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

* Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
