Job Description

Lead the Industrial Engineering requirements associated with the commercialization of new products or technologies. Benchmark and develop optimized labor standards as they pertain to the operation. Research, develop and create improvements, which enhance productivity, cost, quality, warehouse capacity utilization, and customer service of the Estee Lauder companies. Works closely with the Supply Chain management on the development and implementation of global strategies and initiatives to support growth across all channels. Develops and implements strategic projects to improve labor utilization within the operation, utilizing SQL, Power BI, and Tableau. Ensure the best techniques are used in the operation to maximize quality, output, and warehouse capacity utilization. Provide engineering support for capital equipment purchases to support operational growth. Develops distribution layouts determining optimal flow and requirements. This position will also facilitate the Industrial Engineering value analysis/value engineering efforts.

* Collaborate with Central Engineering and Project Engineers to develop ROI and business case justification for Capital Projects, and strategic initiatives, as well as develop and implement databases and dashboards for the operations teams utilizing Power BI and Tableau. Familiar with SQL or Python (20%)
* Assists in the development, recommendation, and implementation of improvement projects and systems for all Plants and Distribution Centers. (20%)
* Develops Distribution layouts, determines manpower requirements, conducts capacity analysis, to support operations management. (10%)
* Participate in the ideation, development, evaluation, recommendation, and execution of advanced technologies such as Robotics, Late Stage Differentiation, Distribution Execution systems. (15%)
* Provide IE technical support for Value Realization and Optimization initiatives. (15%)
* Researches, recommends and implements improved productivity solutions and databases to improve labor utilization within the operation. (10%)

Works closely with other Industrial Engineers to ensure consistent methods and best practices are used in developing and monitoring productivity and efficiency (10%)

Qualifications
* PC expertise (Office, Simulation, SAP, Autocad, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or Python)
* Strong analytical and data management skills
* Must be able to multitask and establish priorities
* Position requires travel to Estee Lauder locations
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required
* Min 3 year of Industrial Engineering, Production or Distribution, or equivalent internship
* Lean Certification - Green Belt
* University Degree
* 5% Travel
