Are you interested in an entry level Software Engineering role with a dynamic team? As a software engineer in our product development department you will use your creativity and software engineering skills to help life scientists achieve landmark discoveries to improve people's lives. Challenges will range from coding for sustaining and improving a broad range of laboratory instrumentation products to translating market needs into new features and products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a knack for creating well-designed, high quality code that meets and exceeds customers expectations. Responsibilities:

Understand and define software requirements. Engage in project planning, execution, verification and validation in an Agile environment. Range of opportunities to develop applications for instrument control and data analysis, ranging from Windows apps in C to Web apps, Angular and other modern frameworks. Day to day includes participating in software design, code implementation, code reviews, and software testing. Good problem solver; great problem preventer skills. Intelligence, common sense, pragmatism, curiosity, perseverance. Works well independently and with teams.

Qualifications:

* 0-2 years of experience and a minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related majors by May 2021
* Experience in writing software in languages including.NET C, Angular/Angular JS, or Python
* Experience in Angular migration and/or in Containers is preferred
* Results oriented has track record for delivering results, takes ownership and is accountable
* Experience with relevant set of Windows, IDEs, and debugging tools
