Purpose

* Assist Process Engineers in the design, development, documentation, prototyping, testing, validation and implementation of new/improved medical devices and related manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

* Under the limited direction of a Process Development Engineer, support the development of new manufacturing processes.
* Execute product testing utilizing mechanical test equipment in a laboratory setting.
* Create and update documentation such as Technical Notes, Drawings and Operator Instructions.
* Complete equipment installation documents (specifications, drawings, maintenance procedures and qualification protocols & reports).
* Execute studies supporting the development of new process specifications (Utilize DOE and basic statistical analysis).
* Take an active role in leading sub-projects in support of the overall project.
* Record and document all projects, tasks and results per lab notebook/Spencer SOPn++s as well as QSR/ISO procedures.

What we're looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

* 2 years or more of relevant production work experience in a regulated environment.
* AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-year technical degree preferred.
* Experience in plastic part design and associated processing methods.
* Previous Medical Device Manufacturing experience.
