Overview:
Responsible for the technology strategy and roadmap, development and implementation of information technology initiatives that support the Corporate Trust business lines within Investment Services.

We operate a network of more than 50 domestic offices and two international locations in London and Dublin.
This role will drive the technology roadmap in conjunction with the product leaders and business executives responsible for the technology delivery on a majority of the components of the roadmap.
Responsibilities:
* Strong hands on engineering leader who will oversee modernization initiatives, be a change agent for an engineering culture and drive execution of investments in line with enterprise and WMIS strategy
* Partner with senior business executives and enterprise teams to develop multi-year product roadmaps
* Drive critical outside in thinking to drive modernization in line with product roadmaps. Also engage with known and emerging technologies to address strategic business needs
* Sets the direction of the delivery process across the organization, on the importance and purpose of the methodology, has a clear point of view and guides the organization on improvements to the delivery process. Promotes a culture of delivering features with minimal disruption to production.
* Provides high-level architectural guidance and assists the team in aligning architecture to business requirements. Works across the organization to foster a culture of applying applicable and relevant design patterns, in accordance with the core strategy in anticipation of future use cases
* Works across the organization to foster a culture of agility and urgency. Coaches the team on making trade-offs, prioritization and managing technical debt. Identifies and manages technical and business risk
* Takes ownership of decisions made in the engineering organization by helping teams make clear decisions in alignment with enterprise goals, backing decisions made, and taking responsibility for their success. Ensures accountability is practiced throughout the organization
* An advanced technologist enabling strong coding practices and solid design decisions. Builds meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders and effectively partners to remove organizational obstacles and guide cross-team strategic efforts. Acts as agile/product champion
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* 10 or more years of relevant software engineering experience
* Six or more years of experience leading multiple software engineering teams
Preferred Skills/Experience
* Thorough knowledge of information systems technology and software development processes and tools, especially industry specific applications
* Extensive knowledge of the business unit supported as well as the ability to recognize the business impact to the overall organization
* Strong engineering and technology background with the ability to drive product solutions
* Demonstrated management, leadership, interpersonal, and excellent oral and written communication skills, with sound judgement, and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence
* Hands on experienced in driving the adoption of and achieving successful Agile and DevOps practices
* Exposure to Cloud technologies
* Experience in collaborating with offshore partners in delivering software programs
* Strong track record of delivering visible and large scale software programs
* Welldeveloped analytical, decisionmaking and problemsolving skills
* Collaborative management style with a strong ability to influence others and achieve consensus
