Summary

Under minimal supervision RN provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients needs with the nurse competencies. RN completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. RN performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

PREFERRED EDUCATION : Bachelor degree

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : 2 years in acute care experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE : Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse

REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

BLS required for allObtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center

PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit.

ENPC required within 18 months of hire or transfer into unit.
