Who You Are

You will Identify key resources, provide the direction required to meet program objectives and commitments (schedule, resource, cost, benefits, scope, content) and ensure appropriate management, customer, and supplier involvement throughout the portfolio. You'll also define designs, and execute delivery of PMO Services to the broader IT organization. These include methodology, tool sets, leader education, and PM training and development of both technical and soft skills.

What Youll Do
As a Senior IT Project/Program Manager - youll be part of our Global IT Project Management team located in New Britain, CT.
Specifically, youll:
* Provide strategic direction to a team and shares responsibility for the project development, budget and schedule
* Responsible for maintenance to organizational performance standards on project related data quality
* Responsible for all levels of project portfolio governance and adherence to methodology and audit requirements
* Develop and maintain project, program and/or PMO operational metrics
* Partnership with PM HR Manager which are centered around and support the same business segments
* Manage risk exposure across multiple programs and serve as an escalation point and corrective action contributor
* Report on financial data for multiple programs
* Manage the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and satisfaction of portfolio requirements
* Responsible for managing all aspects of portfolio management from discovery through delivery implementation
* Responsible for resource modeling
* Prepare and deliver effective presentations as required
* Identify key program risks and manage to ensure the delivery of business goals
