We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on, data driven Principal Technical Program Management leader that enjoys the challenge of collaborating to drive results that are pivotal to the Nordstrom customer experience. The team is responsible for the technology behind our beautiful state of the art stores, serving over 12 million active customers. These loyal customers accounted for more than 50% of our Nordstrom brands. Now, we continue to evolve the technology with the addition of a number of new experiences such as Live Stream Shopping and providing exclusive access in our beautiful stores.

The team develops and supports all Store Technology related experiences such as POS, Payment, Curb Side capabilities. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with multiple teams engineering, product management, finance, marketing, operations and services to define roadmaps & requirements, and ultimately measure results for critical customer initiatives.

A day in the life

* Support Executives and key stakeholders through combined status updates of cross-organization programs/projects to drive processes improvements and decision making
* Drive multiple high-impact and complex programs by driving the intake of requests, building roadmaps, defining and analyzing requirements, and executing integrated plans across multiple teams
* Use data and defined KPIs to measure success from business, customer and technology perspective
* Drive valid estimates of effort to complete engineering work streams that align to business requirements
* Possess proven track record for problem solving within technology that enables the business to achieve stretch goals
* Collaborate with technology teams, Product Management and business leaders to enable core capabilities and deliver business value
* Drive technical and non-technical root cause analysis for underperforming business KPIs

You own this if you have

* 10 + years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, Engineer or Engineering Manager working with user interfaces, web services, databases and cloud infrastructure projects.
* Proven track record of consistent and measurable delivery of large cross-functional and high-profile initiatives
* Strong technical knowledge with experience managing technical initiatives that span several teams and functional areas
