Job Summary: Responsible for developing new customer accounts as well as maintaining existing accounts. This position must ensure accurate part deliveries to the customers and maintain an adequate stock level, if applicable, of P.B.E. items.
Essential Job Duties:
1\. Solicit accounts to develop new business.
2\. Retain current accounts by calling on existing customers to provide assistance in solving problems and maintaining an open communication link.
3\. Rebuild old accounts by researching former customer listings, calling to find out what area of service we can provide and determining possible shortcomings we can correct.
4\. Provide support for company sales promotions.
5\. Perform check-in and check-out for all routes, and follow proper cash handling and return goods procedures.
6\. Perform inventories, if applicable, and oversee and maintain the physical condition of the facility as to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
7\. Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
8\. Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQs quality improvement system.
9\. Oversee discounts to customers
10\. Manage inventory with acceptable scrap and adjustments.
11\. Assumes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. College coursework desired. 2 years automotive industry experience preferred. Supervisory experience desired.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Must be familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques and procedures.
* Must be able to work in cooperation with others.
* Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
* Must possess solid people management and supervisory skills.
* Must have the ability to organize and prioritize workloads.
* Must possess a valid drivers license in order to operate a Company vehicle.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
: Constant travel and sales demonstrations of automotive products, including bumpers, P.B.E. items, etc. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Requires the ability to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

• 2013 acquisition of Sator Beheer B.V. ("Sator"), a vehicle mechanical aftermarket parts distribution company based in the Netherlands, with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Northern France. This acquisition allowed us to further expand our geographic presence into continental Europe.
• 2014 acquisition of Keystone Specialty, which expanded our product offering and increased our addressable market to include specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories.
• On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
• S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
