Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for the Full life-cycle recruitment process within allocated business segments in accordance with employment laws and guidelines. Establish collaborative relationships with HRBPs, operational and hiring leaders in order to understand hiring needs and challenges. Deliver qualified candidates to hiring leaders by leveraging the LKQ talent acquisition process, tools and resources.
Essential Job Duties:
* Identify and implement the LKQ talent acquisition process by setting clear expectations with hiring managers, building market talent pools, coaching the hiring team on selective/behavioral interview techniques, etc.
* Successfully review job descriptions in order to understand the needs of hiring managers as well as ask relevant questions that will help identify the right candidate(s). Write or enhance job descriptions in order to make them more "market friendly". Effectively market each position that you are hiring for, while creating, marketing and championing the LKQ Proud message.
* Diligently pursue a broad understanding of all aspects of the business lines within the group, division or region you support, including core competencies/skill sets, and LKQ Corporation as a whole.
* Leverage your understanding of the marketplace in order to assist hiring managers set realistic expectations of candidate skill sets, experience and the all-around competitive landscape.
* Identify top level talent through aggressive sourcing methods which include internet research, networking, direct sourcing, employee referrals, advertisements, career events, associations, and other sources as needed.
* Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting while developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of a need.
* Conduct screening and selection interviews that follow company guidelines, meet legal requirements, and gather job appropriate candidate information.
* Communicate regularly with hiring managers to establish rapport, provide status updates, and determine the effectiveness of recruiting campaigns and implementation. Collect, analyze and distribute feedback to candidates, hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leaders throughout the recruitment process.
* Share knowledge and identify opportunities for candidates (internal and external) to assist them in their professional development. Motivate candidates and provide appropriate direction and advice that may impact career decisions.

Education & Experience
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* College level Degree.
* 3 5 years of Staffing/Recruitment experience.
* Strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization.
* Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to multitask in a high stress and fast paced environment.
* Ability to adapt to complex situations and think "Outside the box".
* Ability to work independently and stay on task.
* Experienced with desktop computer system and Microsoft office products.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
* This position requires sitting and internet navigating for long periods of time. Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to detail.
* May require 50% travel or more depending on needs of the group.

• 2014 acquisition of Keystone Specialty, which expanded our product offering and increased our addressable market to include specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories.
• On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
• S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
