Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Anatomic Pathology team in Cincinnati, OH.
This Pathology Technician will be responsible for accessioning samples received, loading tissue on and off of the processors, and also assisting with slide distribution in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday, 11:00am to 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday as needed.
Job Duties include:
* Loading and unloading staining instrumentation
* Replenish reagents
* Matching slides and blocks to requisitions
* Filing Blocks
* Scan requisitions
* Daily Overtime as required
Prior Histology and data entry experience strongly preferred, as is someone who is highly motivated.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent is required
* Prior experience in a clinical lab setting preferred, especially in a Histology/Pathology setting
* Ability to accurately read all labels and documents
* Ability to work independently within a team and strong attention to detail
* Familiarity with laboratory SOPs and safety protocol
* Highly organized
