Engineering Team Leader

Job Description:

Engineering Team Leader positions offered by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. (Beech Island, SC). Lead the UCTAD IMF and IMF Lite Projects team including managing 4-6 engineers who will be responsible for implementing approximately $50 million capital projects annually. Lead overall human resource strategy to engage and enable team members and provide coaching, training, succession planning, career development and performance management. Oversee safety programs and processes to ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience providing mechanical engineering support for a tissue manufacturing plant, including having supported capital projects including adhering to set standard capital execution practices and corporate financial instructions. Requires 3 years of experience: designing in AutoCAD and solid-works; analyzing data in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and SAP; developing technical resources; and applying OPEX processes and developing annual continuous improvement plans. Also requires 1 year of experience: providing mechanical engineering support for a conventional or through air dried tissue machine; and providing mechanical engineering support for a center-wind tissue converting asset. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
