Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Application Innovation Center has immediate opportunities for Java and Web Technologies Application Developers. As a Java and Web Technologies Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. The success of IBM is in your hands as you transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation. Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems.

The Java and Web Technologies Application Developer is a hands-on role that requires a demonstrated knowledge of application development methodologies and tools. Hands-on experience in Advanced Java, React, REST API, Angular, bootstrap, and any other front-end technologies.
Your day in the role will include

* Managing and developing Java and Web Technologies Applications.
* Bringing your expertise to solve the application criticality.

You will come with
Experience on core Java, J2EE, and Web services.

Although this position is currently working remotely, this is not a permanent work from home position. This position requires relocation to Baton Rouge within 30 days of the office permanently reopening. This position will require up to 50% travel post-covid times.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

* At least 3 years of experience with Core Java Skills
* At least 3 years of experience with J2EE XML
* At least 3 years of experience with Database (Oracle or DB2)
* At least 3 years of experience with Servlets Springs Hibernate
* At least 3 years of Experience with Web Services (REST and SOAP)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

* At least 3 years of Hands-on experience in Advanced Java, React, REST API, Angular, bootstrap, and any other front-end technologies.
