The Digital Channels Enterprise Architecture team is responsible for the overall technical direction for all Digital Channels products. An Enterprise Architect is responsible for a single or small number of products within the Digital Channels portfolio. The position is accountable for providing technical leadership to project-wide teams, ownership of non-functional requirements, and technical consulting to development and product teams. The Enterprise Architect is a key stakeholder to the product lifecycle, including governance, delivery, roadmaps, and release cycles. They define the overall solution architecture, identify technical risks, and determine mitigation of those risks.
Responsibilities include full technical knowledge and a thorough end-to-end understanding of the products assigned to the Enterprise Architect, encompassing software, data, infrastructure, security, and operations.
Digital Channels products that the Enterprise Architect will work with cover a wide variety of technologies including, but not limited to: microservice architectures, container runtimes and container management platforms, HTTP/JSON APIs and Open API specifications; service messages; public cloud platforms; .NET Core and C; shell scripting; Terraform and infrastructure-as-code products; key-value and relational databases; security and encryption tools.
This position is a part of theDigital Channels EnterpriseArchitecture team working with Product Management,Product Development, User Experience, Information Security,Professional Services, Operations,Sustained Engineering,Supportand Sales.
Technical Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
* 10+ years of software development experience.
* 5+ years in a senior or lead software development role or 2+ years in software or enterprise architecture role.
* 2+ years of experience in the Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms as a developer or architect.
* Specific technology expertise in developing, deploying, and operating container-based applications using Kubernetes or a managed Kubernetes service, service meshes such as Istio, and infrastructure delivery using Terraform.
* Expertise in C, .NET Core/Framework, SQL Server, and at least one cloud-scale database platform such as DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB.
* Expertise designing, developing, and operating services with HTTP/JSON APIs.
* Expertise in software-defined networking and security.
* Expertise in agile development and delivery.
