This is a unique opportunity to be part of Facebooks Infrastructure Asset Management team that is the primary point of accountability for the lifecycle management of all Infrastructure hardware that supports various operations. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of asset management policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements/metrics that enable the organization to manage risk and operational performance objectives. You will be responsible for developing process workflows and required process documentation for tracking hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from purchasing through disposals. You will manage one or more infrastructure asset management programs including but not limited to asset lifecycle process development, fixed asset audits, inventory audits, asset data integrity, master data management and system access controls.
The Business Process Controls team is chartered with the critical mission to ensure that sufficient process controls are established in all material management activities performed by IBOS. This is a team of process owners and program managers that perform several activities in their functional areas including continuous and ongoing stakeholder engagement, KPI management, risk mitigation, continuous improvement, design and implementation of scalable and efficient processes, developing a roadmap, executing a roadmap and providing critical inputs to process automation. This role requires hands-on experience in process design and a full understanding of Infrastructure hardware asset management processes starting from asset intake to asset disposal.
Business Operations Program Manager, Asset Management Responsibilities
* Formulate and implement processes and procedures for tracking and managing Infrastructure hardware from purchase requisition through retirement
* Responsible for developing process workflows and required process documentation for process implementation and rollout
* Refresh or establish policies and procedures for identifying and tracking Infrastructure hardware installed and stored globally
* Evaluate, design and implement asset management technology and processes that achieves highest degree of asset data accuracy
* Investigate and resolve asset data discrepancies to ensure System of Record accuracy at all times
* Recommend improvements to processes and controls and develop a plan to address issues raised in internal and external audits
* Effectively communicate asset management strategies to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
* Responsible for establishing appropriate KPIs to measure asset data quality and drive continuous improvements
* Develop scalable internal operational audit procedures to verify asset data accuracy at all Infrastructure locations
* Support external SOX audits in accordance with standards and expectations set forth by the Infra Compliance team
* Responsible for stakeholder engagement, assessment of ongoing business needs and building short term and long term roadmap to support business needs
Minimum Qualifications
* BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience
* 10+ years of experience in hardware asset management, materials lifecycle management, inventory management/controls, IT Audits or other work in the areas
* 10+ years of experience collaborating with geographically distributed cross-functional teams to implement business processes in a global environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Masters degree in Supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or MBA
* Experience in logistics operations in a global high growth environment
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Proven experience getting results across multiple groups and disciplines
* Experience leading by example, creating a sense of energy, ownership, and personal commitment to the work
* Strong bias for action
* Strong self-initiative and persistence, experience dealing with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key area
* Tirelessly advocate for improvements to systems and processes that will benefit our business partners
