Investor Relations Manager

Job Description

This position reports to the VP of Investors Relations. The successful candidate will be joining a team that is focused on building a world-class investor relations program emphasizing strong relationships with the investment community; enhanced understanding and appreciation for the companys business model and investment merits; sound expectations management; credible and transparent disclosure; and value to internal Facebook constituencies as a key resource and strategic contributor to the companys communications functions.

Investor Relations Manager Responsibilities

* Serve as a key point of contact with investment community in responding to inquiries from the buy and sell side. Articulate Facebooks mission, strategies, financial and operational results and business & strategic vision. Communicate feedback and perceptions to the VP/IR team and management as appropriate.

* Contribute to the earnings preparation process, including: Executive Q&A, scripts, and other prep materials. Interact with internal teams to obtain data and content.

* Develop and manage investor targeting programs (with support from IR analyst).

* Contribute to the planning and management of investor events (conferences, road shows, investor meetings), investor presentations, briefing materials, press releases, fact sheets, etc.

* Contribute to process of evaluating and approving product, business and operations stats to be shared externally.

* Build an expertise in business areas. Surface pertinent information to the IR team regularly in meetings and ad hoc as appropriate.

* Manage the Facebook IR website to ensure timely and effective dissemination of key disclosures. Identify opportunities to enhance external investor resources.

* Contribute to the IR teams ESG/Corporate Governance initiatives. Manage ESG agency relationships and collaborate with internal teams to understand and highlight progress on key issues to external stakeholders.

* Monitor and report on industry and peer company information and practices by tracking research reports, news, earnings calls and other relevant resources.

* Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders.

* Identify and communicate strategic and tactical ideas for the continuous improvement of the IR program.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree

* Experience with public fast-growing, consumer-oriented technology company

* 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ year of Investor Relations experience

* Proven communication and presentation skills, including messaging skills, applied confidently and consistently in a high pressure environment

* Organizational and project management experience and the drive to lead projects to successful outcomes

* Effective networking skills and the clear experience quickly building trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders

* Credibility and gravitas, both with external and internal constituencies

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA preferred

* Wall Street background preferred

* Demonstrated experience as an energetic, efficient, self-motivated, and resourceful team player

* Excellent judgment, discretion and integrity
