Facebook is looking for an experienced Curriculum Manager, Functional Skills to join the GMS Learning team. The GMS Learning team supports Global Marketing Solutions across the Global Marketing Solutions organization at Facebook. In this position you will partner with Program Managers, Client Engagement teams, Production & Operations, and subject matter experts to develop effective learning plans that drive business impact through sales enablement and performance outcomes. The Curriculum Manager will support the development and implementation of a strategy to support our core learning pillars, including Onboarding, Solutions, and Functional skills. You will partner with teams across GMS Learning to define audience needs and design and curate solutions to achieve performance and business goals. Based on our persona strategy, you will design and curate solutions that support our full time employee and agent audiences across GMS.
Curriculum Manager, Functional Skills Responsibilities
* Partners with GMS Learning and cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and maintain the curriculum strategy for one or more of our GMS Learning core pillars, including managing the pillar library of content and experiences
* Provide analysis and partner to create a strategy and solutions in support of goals
* Architect curriculum based on a matrix aligning customer personas to the skills and knowledge required for success
* Consult with project teams to address complex business and performance problems with creative learning solutions
* Build and maintain a library of content aligned with pillar curriculums, providing consultation on the best solutions to support learning goals
* Partner with Design and Development to maintain and enhance content, including making updates when necessary
* Manage curriculum strategy projects that include GMS Learning and subject matter experts, including creating and maintaining a plan and all project communications and timelines
* Manage requests through the Task system, ensuring that timely updates are provided
* Partner with Program Management to determine the best approach to address business needs with learning solutions (updates to existing programs, create new programs, etc.)
* Partner with Design and Development on all instructional design and content development, along with Program Manager and Client Engagement teams
* Partner with Systems and Data to ensure systems are aligned with curriculum strategy and program offerings, ensuring that they have a proper time to execute
* Role requires 20% travel
Minimum Qualifications
* 7+ years experience as a Learning and Development professional
* 5+ years of professional experience in instructional design, performance consulting, or related field
* Experience designing and implementing learning programs that include multiple components and modalities
* Demonstrated experience in needs analysis, project management, consultation, course development, and evaluation skills
* Proven expertise in stakeholder management, driving action, and change management in a global organization
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting sales teams in the Technology or Media industry
* Knowledge of standard publishing tools and working knowledge of an LMS
* Experience working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects, and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment
* Experience in project management
