Facebooks Global Operations team exists to help them. Our team helps protect the digital rights of media creators and rights holders. As a member of Digital Rights Operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring that the Intellectual Property Operations team is always innovating, improving and handling IP matters efficiently and quickly. This team is uniquely responsible for the success of the program as a whole as it touches virtually all aspects of Facebook's Intellectual Property ecosystem and has a diverse group of stakeholders across the team and company. Candidates are expected to think creatively about challenging issues and are passionate about problem solving. They will also be able to work successfully across teams and countries, and use their analytical expertise and empathy to proactively drive solutions. We are seeking a resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, collaborative and a proven team player. We count on Specialists who are passionate about protecting the intellectual property rights of users and rights holders across the Facebook family of apps.

Specialist, Intellectual Property Operations Responsibilities

* Effectively manage a set of support queues by responding and resolving incoming reports and escalations of alleged legal rights infringement with high quality, speed and empathy

* Complete data quality reviews and audits as needed

* Become an expert in operational workflows in order to effectively advocate for operational excellence (e.g., policy creation and enforcement, process optimization, measurement and reporting)

* Identify trends and opportunities to develop strategies and implement data driven solutions to improve tools, systems and policies

* Plan and execute team-wide projects to further our mission and improve user experience while liaising with cross-functional partners to move these initiatives forward

* Work closely with our Legal team and represent IP Operations to product, sales and engineering as well as other Community Operations teams

* Develop skills in a number of different areas of the business including data analysis, tool development (ex: SQL, dashboards, Excel) and subject matter expertise in intellectual property policies

Minimum Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in end-to-end project management and/or operations

* 1+ years of experience in customer support or support operations

* Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of the intersection of legal guidance, policy and free speech on the Internet

* Legal or Intellectual Property experience
