We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) with ASIC development experience. TPMs at Facebook navigate loosely defined problem spaces and turn them into well-structured programs while being cross-functional relationship builders. They do it by seeing the big picture, finding connections where none exist, quickly building rapport across multidisciplinary teams, identifying and executing on a common goal to support Facebooks infrastructure. Facebook's Infrastructure organization is responsible for the growth, management and 24x7 upkeep of all Facebook's products and services. This is a full-time position and will report to the Group Technical Program Manager.
Technical Program Manager, ASIC Responsibilities
* Manage cross-functional product development in a matrix organization covering a range of areas (ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, Systems, Production).
* Drive and manage projects in ASIC/FPGA development and their subsystems with vendors, internal software and hardware teams.
* Work with the platform hardware, firmware, and ASIC teams to create requirements and constraints.
* Deliver Emulation, FPGA platforms and high quality silicon products.
* Engage in product management in collaboration with Engineering owners to define product roadmaps.
* Provide hands-on program management from product conception to post production release.
* Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
Minimum Qualifications
* BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other technical field.
* 4+ years of hands-on ASIC engineering experience.
* Experience in pre and/or post silicon validation development.
* Proven organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated experience managing from technical details to big picture.
* Proven interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
* Cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ years experience as a Technical Lead or Project/Program/Product management.
* Experience in RTL Design/Design Verification with VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
* Experience in managing ASIC design flow (architecture, micro-architecture, design, synthesis, functional verification, physical layout etc.).
* Experience working with vendors.
* Familiar with semiconductor technology and manufacturing processes.
* Experience with data center architecture and deployment.
* Work experience in semiconductor start-ups.
