Job Description
On-site supervision of daily drilling activities performed to EOG requirements on a rotational basis. Ensure plans and procedures are carried out as proposed and that EOG's safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed on location; oversee and direct the activities of service companies to make sure that the proper procedures are followed. Monitor and record day-to-day drilling activities for compliance with drilling program and handle problems that may arise; record and keep costs to a minimum in all operations.
Job Requirements
Must have 5+ years of oil and gas field experience and/or experience as a drilling consultant. Must be experienced in supervising day-to-day drilling activities and be knowledgeable of onshore drilling specifics. Additionally, must have computer skills, project management skills and a strong understanding of well control procedures. Must communicate effectively and have supervisory experience. Must be available to be on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, when well site operations are in progress. A high school diploma or GED is required.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
