We are looking for an Automation Technician Supervisor to join our team in Roseville, MN. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Automation Technician Supervisor will supervise a team of Technicians who help with daily production needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Works closely with production management and team leaders in resource assignments to meet production demands.
* Provide technical support and leadership for automation (PLC's, Servo Systems, etc) and electrical power systems across the mill
* Supervise and train automation techs across three different shifts at two different locations
* Lead maintenance activities related to production equipment and tooling
* Lead and support all preventative maintenance programs of equipment
* Lead and maintain equipment spare parts program
* Make recommendations for changes and improvements to the operation
* Manage equipment improvement and optimization projects
* Supports non-conformance and complaint management processes
* Works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient management of value streams, resources, and quality control
* Coaches team members and promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement through one-on-ones, team meetings, and hands on involvement on the shop floor
* Performs annual performance reviews and fosters employee development plans
* Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment
* Adheres to all safety regulations
* Demonstrates support of CPC core values
* Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs
Required Job Qualifications:
* Associate degree in an engineering, business, science, or related field
* At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
* At least three years of experience with ISO9001, ISO13485, or equivalent
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Able to identify opportunities and self-direct to implement improvements in uptime, product quality, and production efficiencies
* Lean methodology familiarity
* Design and program PLC logic
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering, business, science, or related field
* At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
* At least five years of experience with ISO9001, ISO13485, or equivalent
* Machine shop experience (CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, etc)

Less than 5%
