We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (Deloitte). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a job with Deloitte. Application Developer - Miner Suite Product Development Team for ConvergeHEALTH
As an application developer, you will be aligned to the product development team of the ConvergeHEALTH's Miner platform. ConvergeHEALTH is a part of Deloitte Consulting's Platforms practice, and supports the information-based transformation of healthcare by enabling healthcare and life sciences organizations to answer the hard questions in healthcare-what works, for whom, why, in what context, and at what cost? As part of Miner product suite, you will play a critical role in designing, building, supporting and delivering a series of technology applications that re-imagine the way medications are commercialized by Life Science companies.

We expect you to have:
A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics or a related field
5-7 years of hands-on experience developing cloud-based enterprise web applications or system integration with a focus on back-end services, API development, and system integration.
Proven experience designing and building SPA web applications using frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js
Proven experience engineering and developing micro-services and APIs using NodeJS or Java/Spring Framework
Proven experience leveraging AWS cloud-native technologies, with specific focus on:
o AWS EC2, RDS, Lambdas, S3, SNS/SQS, IAM, Cognito, Athena, RedShift and Glue
Experience with RDBMS and SQL (SQL Server, Postgres, etc.), with an emphasis on data modeling and SQL performance tuning. A general understanding of ETL pipelines.
Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solving skills; an innate ability to utilize all resources at your disposal to find a creative solution to a problem, whether business/functional or technical in nature
A desire to take initiative and continuously work on improving the products you are responsible for
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Hands-on experience with full suite of software lifecycle tools (Jira, Git/Stash, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.)
Excellent conversational and written communication skills
We'd love you to have:
Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and application security (OAuth2/SAML)
Experience with caching and state frameworks such as Redux or Redis
Familiarity with healthcare related data (e.g., EMR, Claims, Pharmaceutical contracts, etc.) and a general interest in the life sciences and healthcare industry
Experience with a visualization/charting framework and scripting languages such as Python or R
