Day to Day Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled & innovative individual with a desire to learn. Individuals applying for this position must be team oriented and able to work collaboratively with others. They must have a drive for continuous improvement, and they must be flexible and willing to learn new things. The purpose of this position is to perform equipment maintenance, repair and improvement in support of efficient manufacturing operations

General Duties:

* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a variety of production and service equipment and instrumentation that includes High Speed CNC polishers, Bridgeport mills, Hardinge lathes, Haas Mini Mills etc.
* Cognizant of all the unique production equipment and operational functions and services
* Plans, schedules, performs, and maintains appropriate records of preventative maintenance for all equipment Interacts with production personnel appropriately for all repair necessities and preventative maintenance for all equipment
* Interacts with production personnel appropriately for all repair necessities and preventative maintenance scheduling
* Schedules and conducts utilities and equipment support services preventative maintenance
* Keeps appropriate records and support documentation of equipment repair and parts change history
* Updates, changes, and maintains files of schematics, graphics, and text files of all equipment

Hours of Work:

* 7:00AM 3:30PM

Required Skills:

* Mechanical maintenance in manufacturing
* Similar manufacturing equipment familiarity
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Exceptional fine motor skills and attention to detail
* Strong PC skills and ability to operate electronic equipment
* Superior technical and diagnostic skills
* Able to work in a team environment
* Actively engage in continuous improvement and cost reduction programs
* Dedicated to the job
* Willing to work off hours as required

Education:

* High School diploma and technical electronic maintenance
* Trade School Experience
